The journey begins at the airport in the imperial city of Cusco, high in the Peruvian Andes. The Sacred Journeys team will meet you and you will be transferred to the Sacred Valley. The valley is a great place to start your tour as the altitude is lower than Cusco and is a great place to acclimatize. In the valley town of Chinchero experience a welcome meal and later travel to a opening ceremony to bless you and your fellow travelers for the journey ahead. Continue on through the valley to your hotel for a well earned rest from your journey and for the upcoming days.

We start our day in the village of Chinchero from where our Sacred Journeys family originates. The town is located on the high Andean plains with some of the best views in the Sacred Valley. Chinchero is known for its weaving and textiles and the a great spot to buy souvenirs to remember the area. At a local community see a demonstration of how the women weave and gather wisdom through their craft. Learn how they use the process of natural dies made from local plants and minerals. From our Master learn about Andean Healing arts and the connection with the ancient spirits of the Andes. Later travel to your hotel in Sacred Valley for a good nights rest.

Wake early and have breakfast at the hotel, later we travel to Killarumiyoc, the temple of the Moon, said to contain feminine energy. Here we will participate in the sacred San Pedro ceremony. The Master will give us the necessary information for the ceremony. The Master and our team will guide you through the process helping everyone individually with their journey.
Once the session is complete we travel back to the Sacred and your hotel to rest and relax.

Our day starts with a visit to the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo also know as the Sanctuary of the Wind, here discover the ancient observatory set among the massive hillside terraces. Experience the Temple of the Sun and the Royal Baths to get a unique energy and connect with the three Inca element. Walk along the river to the Temple of the Condor and enjoy a few minutes of reflection and meditation.
After a local lunch travel to the train station at Ollantaytambo. Board the train for a scenic train journey following the Urubamba River through the Sacred Valley to the quaint village of Aguas Calientes. After settling into your hotel you have the rest of the night free to explore this wonderful town surrounded by the high Andes.

Arise early to get the best of Machu Picchu. Take the bus from town at sunrise, arrive at the gates and get ready for your spiritual awakening. Also known as the Cristal Condor sacred site, Machu Picchu is a beautiful and inspiring place, the greatest known temple of the Inca Empire. Thousands flock to the site each year to connect with the energy and the Inca wisdom. It is located at three high peaks of power and the perfect place to meditate, focus and expand your awareness of the surroundings. With your guide visit all the important parts of Machu Picchu, see the temples, the sacred stone, the plazas and experience the energy of the surrounding mountains. Experience a connection ceremony to Pachamama, a once in a lifetime experience.
When you have finished at Machu Picchu, travel down to Aguas Calientes and explore the town, have some lunch and return by train to Ollantaytambo through the Sacred Valley. Transfer to your hotel and have a chance to rest and freshen up before we participate in our first Ayahuasca ceremony with our Master. Our staff will be with you the whole way to support and guide you through the ceremony.

Today will be our second day of our Ayahuasca ceremony. After breakfast join a integration circle to discuss yesterdays sessions and your personal journeys. Later enjoy lunch with your fellow travelers before having the afternoon free to relax. In the even participate in our second Ayahuasca ceremony before relaxing at the hotel.

Traveling back through the Sacred Valley to Cusco we visit some interesting site along the way. Firstly visit Sacsayhuaman, once used by the Inca to protect Cusco. Marvel at the architecture and hear the legends of this tremendous stone structure. With the guide experience the rebirth process at the cave of the Cosmic Mother, the highlight of today. Later visit some other ancient sites before returning to the ancient Inca capital of Cusco where you will spend the night.

This morning we leave Cusco and travel to the Tinajani Canyon and visit the naturally impressive red sandstone and volcanic dacite which are thought to be millions of years old. Scientist have discovered that in ancient times the canyon was a immense lake formed by water and wind. The Tinajani Canyon has several legends about it origins that make it an interesting place to visit. Later we continue onto Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca and settle into our hotel. The lake is famous for being the highest navigable lake in the world and also for the interesting Uros people who have made the lake their home on their floating islands. Be welcomed by the powerful energy and embrace of Mama Cocha. Enjoy the evening exploring this lakeside town.

Today after breakfast journey to Aramu Muru’s door in the Valley of the Spirits. See the large rock formations that are shaped like serpents and pumas the connect with the spirits of the lower worlds. Experience a ceremony to honor our personal growth and experience our rebirth and the starting of a new life. Have the opportunity to do a San Pedro ceremony before our pilgrimage takes us to Chucuito and the Temple of Fertility with its phallic sculptures. Later return to Puno where you will spend the night.

This morning we wake early to enjoy the morning sun, enjoy breakfast and take a private boat trip out on the waters of Lake Titicaca. Visit the Uros Islands, the islands are famous because they are make from Tortora reeds and are home to the Uros people. These interesting series of islands attract people from all over the world and here you will have a great opportunity to see the traditions and experience the life of the people. With the help of your guide chat with the locals about their life and their simple way of life.
After we finish with the Uros travel further out on Lake Titicaca to the Island of Amantani, also known as the Island of the Kantuta, the flower that grows there. This fascinating island has a interesting history and contains both Inca and Tiwanaku ruins. Amantani features hillside terracing where the people grown, wheat, quinoa, potatoes and many other vegetables. Tonight we will stay on the island with one of the local families in a homestay. This is a great honor to be invited into their homes and the community will welcome us with open arms. This is the perfect way to get a great understanding and appreciation of the local people and their traditions. In the evening participate in a Despacho Ceremony with our Master and also the local Amantani Master where we can make offerings and express our thanks to Pachamama and the Apus.

This morning after breakfast at the hotel we embark on our final tour to the Temple of Pachatata and Pachamama. Here connect with the sacred energies. Later bid farewell to Amantani and travel back across Lake Titicaca to Puno. Transfer to your hotel and later enjoy a last dinner together and reflect on our journey together. Spend the night in Puno high in the Peruvian Andes.
